Two Wins at the UK Enterprise Awards: What sets intO apart?
We’re delighted to share that Studio intO has been named:
🏆 Best Global Research Agency 2025 🏆 Equitable Innovation Excellence Award 2025
Awarded by SME News, the UK Enterprise Awards shine a spotlight on the businesses driving innovation, agility and excellence across the UK’s SME sector. To win not one but two awards is a proud moment for our global team—and a recognition of the unique way intO delivers research for design and innovation in every corner of the world.
So, what caught the judges’ attention?
A Global Model That Works Locally
intO isn’t a traditional research agency. Since 2011, we’ve built a truly distributed model that’s as agile as it is precise. Our Central Team operates remotely across the UK, Spain, Poland and Colombia, orchestrating projects with a global network of 130+ Local Researchers. This team speaks 41 languages and spans more than 60 countries.
This structure allows us to run complex, multi-region studies with a single point of contact for our clients—delivering globally aligned insight that is always rooted in local cultural understanding.
Equitable Innovation at the Core
We don’t just talk about inclusion—we’ve embedded equity into our methodologies. Our Equitable AI Framework, in particular, has become a benchmark for global brands seeking to build AI tools that are linguistically fair, culturally sensitive, and globally relevant.
From moderating local-language research where AI transcription tools fall short, to advising on dataset diversity and testing outputs for bias, intO is helping clients transform how equity is considered in the design and development process.
A Team Built for the Future
The judges also recognised our people-first, future-facing culture. As a remote-first business since day one, we’ve created a work environment that supports flexibility, autonomy and progression. Our distributed model isn’t just operationally efficient—it enables us to attract and retain incredible talent across regions and time zones.
This year alone, we’ve made five new hires, promoted three team members, and had zero turnover—proof that our model supports long-term, sustainable growth.
Research That Drives Strategic Change
We’re proud that our work doesn’t sit in a slide deck. Whether supporting fintech expansion in LATAM, testing AI features in Sub-Saharan Africa, or guiding product decisions for major tech platforms, our research translates directly into action.
Our client at YouTube recently summed it up perfectly:
“I couldn’t have achieved this feat without them, and I’m truly grateful that I chose Studio intO to join me on this journey with YouTube. They are amazing!” — Brittany Body, User Experience Research, YouTube
