Leslie specialises in Artificial Intelligence research, engineering design and visual programming.
He founded an AI start-up, ‘Humanising Autonomy’, enabling self-drive cars to understand pedestrian behaviour. He has also participated successfully in design competitions, and has published articles in ‘Fast Company’ and ‘New Scientist’. With a particular interest in researching the effects of societal and ecological design, he believes the application of Circular Economy principles are essential to achieving sustainable environmental benefits.
Leslie has a BSc in Industrial Design from Delft University of Technology, and an MA in Innovation Design Engineering from the Royal College of Art. Having lived in Belgium, Sweden, Japan, Australia and the USA, he is now based in the UK. He speaks Dutch, English, French and Swedish.
